When beginning the process of creating a symmetrical tattoo, I prefer to take a reference photo of the desired placement and develop the design specifically around the anatomical structure of the human canvas. The process begins with mapping out the structure, establishing the foundation and flow of the symmetry, and carefully building the linework. From there, I use shading to create depth, dimension, and contrast, allowing the design to flow naturally with the body.
